PISCATAWAY, N.J. -- Senior captain Gary Nova worked on his leadership in the offseason, and is fully focused on Washington State. Nova spoke 1-on-1 with ScarletReport.com to discuss the start of in-season game week and some new names he has as passing targets in Seattle.

Gary Nova has some new faces lining up to his left and right because of injuries and roster turnover. He broke down some of the new names, including tight ends Matt Flanagan and Charles Scarff in a discussion with ScarletReport.com.

Nova said Flanagan is one of the most improved on the roster since the spring.

The two-time team captain discussed Rutgers coach Kyle Flood's decision to move Justin Goodwin to cornerback, and looked ahead to Washington State.
