| Hadn't played organized football since eighth grade (focusing on motocross
instead) but nonetheless took the South Puget Sound League by storm as a senior in 2001, scoring a state record 44 TDs and rushing for nearly 2,300 yards; he is only
the 27th prep player in state history to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season. Named South Puget Sound League offensive player of the year. But his collegiate future will be on the defensive side of the ball. |
