| As a prepster, earned All-Sunset League and All-CIF first team honors as a defensive end and Super Prep Magazine named him All-Far West In track he won league and county titles in the shot and discus and was named male track athlete of the year by the Orange County Register. Grayshirted 1999 season, enrolling in January 2000. Played significantly for Cougars in 2001 and 2002.
