| The Class 3A tournament’s most valuable player en route to leading Auburn-Riverside High School to its second-consecutive state championship in 2007-08. Named the state player of the year by The Tacoma News Tribune, Grad is the all-time leading scorer at Auburn-Riverside. She also garnered first-team all-state selections from both the Seattle Times and the Seattle PI, was named SPSL League MVP and led Auburn-Riverside to its third-consecutive league title. First-team all SPSL and league MVP twice. As a sophomore in 2006 earned second-team, All-SPSL North honors. Was an honorable mention all-league pick as a freshman in 2005. Also a first-team all-league outfielder in softball. Maintains a 3.9 GPA. |
