| Biography: |
Moved to linebacker from safety at the start of WSU's 2008 fall camp, Bland was the Modesto Bee's '07 and '06 Player of the Year in high school. Logged 63 tackles, rushed for 1,763 yards and scored 32 touchdowns. He also set the career touchdown mark for the section with 102.
One of the premier high school wrestlers in the country, Bland is also a USA Wrestling National Team member and was the sectional champion.
