| Biography: |
One of the North Bay's top recruited d-linemen according to the San Francisco Chronicle, he also starred as a run and pass blocker and dominated at the line of scrimmage his senior season. Also played fullback in short-yard situations, scoring three rushing touchdowns.
“He’s tough, he’s athletic, he’s got great feet, he’s explosive — all the things that Pac-10 coaches like to see," says coach Rich Cotruvo.
A first team all-league selection on both lines his junior season, Clayton racked up a heady 136 tackles and was also named first team all-county on defense. Has a motor that doesn't quit. Projects as a defensive tackle or could potentially play defensive end. |
