Is basically a much smaller version of his cousin, Jake Locker. Comes from a long line of solid football talent at Ferndale. Has natural football instincts and is a leader. Could play on either side at the next level, and only needs to get bigger and stronger to have an impact, but size is an issue right now. Could pose matchup problems because of his football IQ and awareness of where he needs to be in order to make a play.
Biography:
He had an outstanding high school senior campaign in 2008, leading Ferndale to an 11-1 mark en route to being named the most valuable football player -- for the second straight season -- of the Northwest Conference. Named all-classifications All-State at defensive back by the Seattle Times and first-team Class 3A All-State by the Associated Press at quarterback. First-team all-conference at both defensive back and quarterback as a junior and senior. In summer 2008 he was a member of a 7-On-7 team from WA that won an NFL national high school competition. Also stars on the baseball diamond for Ferndale. Projects as a safety in college. First cousin is UW quarterback Jake Locker.
