| Transferred to WSU from Tulane, where he earned Conference USA All-Freshman team honors in 2005. That season he ranked second on team in steals (35) and assists (103, 3.69 per game), recorded 15-double figure scoring games, and played 28 or more minutes in 15 of 16 conference games.
As a prepster in Santa Clara, Calif., he was named first-team all league each of his three varsity seasons. Led team to a 22-5 record as a senior, averaging 22.3 points, 5.3 assists, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.8 steals per game. Was league's co-Player of the Year honors, and a McDonalds' All-America nominee. He is the all-time leading scorer at Santa Barbara High with 1,381 points.
