| Biography: |
Started nine games last season as a true sophomore at weakside defensive end (rush end) in his first season at the position. Started one game in '04 as a true freshman at middle linebacker for the Vandals (played in eight). A gifted athlete, Ben has been one of the team's major contributors each of the last two years (finished 5th on the team in tackles in 2005, including a 38 yard interception return against UNLV). Ben is expected to be at or near the top of the depth chart at DE in 2006 when the Vandals take the field in East Lansing against Michigan State on opening day.
