| Biography: |
Originally from Florida and is the son of former USC and Tampa Bay player Richard “Batman” Wood. Signed with Alabama State out of high school on a track scholarship but decided he wanted to play football. He then transferred to Pasadena to provide him the opportunity to grow as a player.
Return specialist on both kickoff and punt returns for PCC, averaged 40 and 12 yards, respectively.
“Marlon is an exceptional player," said head coach Tom Maher. "He has had 30 tackles, 11 pass breakups, and three interceptions on defense.. His stats are only reflective of seven games.” Wood started out the year at wide receiver before being moved to cornerback.
