| Biography: |
One-year starter at WSU, completing 55 percent of his passes for 2,947 yards, 21 TDs and 15 INTs in 2003. Named second-team All-Pac-10. Has nice size and sound NFL-caliber physical skills and passing ability, but he lacks consistency and accuracy. Legitimate camp quarterback with some upside potential.
In his first-ever career start, at USC as redshirt freshman in 2000, he guided the Cougars to a rare road victory in the L.A. Coliseum. Ryan Leaf is a first cousin.
A highly touted prep record setter from Havre, Mont., he was an understudy at WSU to legendary Jason Gesser for four years. |
