| First-team "Best in the West" by the Long Beach Press-Telegram, he was widely considered one of the 15 top receiving prospects in the nation in the recruiting class of 2004. Caught 75 passes for 1,081 yards and 11 TDs as a junior, then was moved to QB three games into his senior campaign because of an injury to the regular starter. He led team to 9-2-1 record, rushing for 800 yards and throwing for 160. Scored 13 TDs. Also a punter, averaging 40 yards per boot. Originally committed verbally to USC. |
