| Starred for two years at Ventura JC, earning honorable mention all-league honors as a freshman in 2001 and second-team plaudits in 2002. Highlight of '02 was eight-catch, 70-yard outing vs. Saddleback. Averaged 19.2 yards per catch on the season, pulling down 35 balls for 671 yards and seven TDs. Was recruited out of high school by Kansas State, San Diego State and UNLV. Also was a prep standout in track and basketball. Runs the 40 in 4.33. Redshirted 2003 season at WSU. |
