Biography:
Played in nine games in 2003 as Matt Kegel's understudy and saw considerable action down the stretch as Kegel's health woes mounted. Completed 41 of 81 passes for 548 yards. Threw one TD and five INTs. Will be No. 1 QB when fall camp opens. Grayshirted in 2001 and redshirted in 2002. In high school was a three-time all-league pick. As a senior en route to Division 4 Ohio State Player of the Year honors he fired for 2,300 air yards and 25 TDs and rushed for 500 yards. He completed 60 percent of his passes and led team to 14-1 record.
