Biography:
Lamont Thompson RFA Titans – A lot was expected of him when the Bengals selected him in the second round three years ago. Thompson never seemed to grasp their defensive scheme and was gone after one season. Interestingly enough, he learned the Titans’ scheme in short order and got on the field quickly after being signed prior to the start of his second season. Thompson has very good size and range and can really hit but he still needs to be more aggressive. He should be a starter for the club in the near future as he continues to get more comfortable.

A four-year starter at Washington State, he earned first-team All-America honors as a senior in 2001 and also was named Sun Bowl MVP that season. Holds the school record for most career interceptions.
