the staff of Cougfan.com of Cougfan.com, Nov 29, 2009
SEATTLE -- Linebacker Mike Ledgerwood was an afterthought on the recruiting trail back in 2008 when he was crackin’ heads in obscurity for a small high school in a rural conference. He is obscure no more. With a whopping 14 total tackles – 10 of them solo – he was an eye-filling bright spot for Washington State in an otherwise forgettable Apple Cup.   Full Story

WSU'S LACK OF depth was national news a year ago. After injuries decimated the QB position, the Cougars held an open tryout for a scout-team quarterback. Media outlets displayed highlights that featured former Woodinville High signal caller Peter Roberts winning the position. Without the same fanfare, it's a similar situation in '09 as WSU prepares for the Apple Cup.   Full Story

But it got me thinking about our awful offense this year. So I went in search of one who might be able to offer some insight -- Chad Davis.   Full Story
