		By LUKE HALLOWELL Cougfan.com Correspondent Date: Apr 17, 2009 PULLMAN--It's a little early to officially declare him the surprise of spring ball, there are after all two more scrimmages and four practices before the 15-practice session is in the books. But headed into Saturday's scrimmage, he's our pick. It's his first spring on the Palouse and he entered spring drills as a backup on the depth chart. But day by day, he's been running with the ones aplenty.
