PULLMAN -- Washington State and Southern Cal authored a thriller on Saturday. Just when it looked like one team had it wrapped up, the other came storming back. It took two overtimes to settle the issue and when it was done, Aron Baynes and Taylor Rochestie had helped power the Cougs to an 88-86 triumph, sweeping the season series from USC and securing the No. 2 seed in the Pac-10 tourney.

It took over 2 1/2 hours of heart stopping action before 11,618 screaming Crimson partisans saw Washington State (24-6) claim victory over USC in the regular season finale.
The post game interviews weren't quite that long, fortunately, but coach Tony Bennett, Baynes and Rochestie each had plenty to say -- including an explanation on what triggered a spirited discussion between the two staffs, WSU players' roles, what the win means heading into Pac-10 and NCAA tournament play plus much more.
