And so it begs the question... What is, and what isn't, fair game? The article by the Columbus Dispatch says schools "censor information in the name of student privacy, invoking a 35-year-old federal law whose author says it has been twisted and misused by the universities." You can read the Dispatch article here. And since the article's publication, the federal government has gotten involved. No one is arguing that grades are, and should be, private, says the article. But as for the rest of it all, there are widely varying opinions. What's your opinion -- what should be kept private, and what does the public have the right to know?
