Cougs putting pen to paper in recruiting QB

QUARTERBACKS GENERALLY GO early in the recruiting process -- last year the Cougs received the verbal from Spokane's Connor Halliday in mid-June. One field general with a crimson offer of a full ride is receiving passels of handwritten letters on a regular basis from the entire WSU coaching staff.

Trent McKinney's mailbox in Mililani, Hawaii keeps filling up with bunches of handwritten letters from Paul Wulff and crew. "Some of them say I should come be a Coug.
