NEWSWIRE: Oertel fulfills holiday wish

FUTURE COUGAR ERIC OERTEL made headlines all through his senior campaign, earning countless awards in the process. One of them was the state of Wisconsin’s Gatorade Player of the Year award. It's based on athletic excellence, academic achievement and exemplary character. Those three tenets all came into play on Dec. 25 when the running back/linebacker made a Christmas Day visit to a local family.

Oertel, who will be arriving in Pullman this summer, took a detour on Christmas Day to make one idolizing youngster in his hometown of Racine very happy ....
