OREGON STATE CLIMBED three spots in one poll, two in another, despite not playing on Saturday. With the biggest game of the Pac-10 season coming up on Thursday night, a look at the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches' polls and the BCS Rankings.

Oregon State climbed three spots to No. 13 in the AP poll.

Oregon State in the AP moved past Pittsburgh (No. 8 last week), Oklahoma State (11) and Clemson (15), who all lost on Saturday.

Over in the Coaches' poll, the Beavs climbed two notches to No. 16.

The Beavs moved up over Okie State and Clemson, but with Pitt now settling one spot up on OSU at No. 15.

In the BCS Standings, the Beavs remained at No. 16.

Oregon State (No. 13, No. 16) meets Oregon (No. 7, No. 8) at Autzen on Thursday night at 6 p.m. on ESPN. The winner goes to the Rose Bowl.

NOTABLE NOTE:
The Beavers' No. 13 ranking in the AP poll is the highest AP ranking for Oregon State since appearing No. 10 at the start of the 2001 season.
