Crimson YouTube: A thriller on the Palouse

THERE ARE A number of great video montages and clips of the Cougars on the internet. With Washington State's fall camp coming up fast, here's one that should quicken the pulse.
It's been a few months now since the 2008 Apple Cup, a thrilling 16-13 double-overtime Washington State win over Washington. Most people remember well the
Kevin Lopina
to
Jared Karstetter
connection. And the three pressure-packed field goal makes by
Nico Grasu
.
But as the following illustrates, there were many more standout crimson performers who helped make victory -- the Cougs' fourth over the Huskies in the past five years -- a reality.
There was
Chima Nwachukwu
with a game saving tackle. And sure-handed
Kevin Norrell
catching the ball and moving the chains.
Louis Bland
and
Andy Mattingly
were among those who came up big when it counted most. And
Tyree Toomer
logged a monster sack at the most opportune of times.
Dwight Tardy
churning out tough yards in traffic.
Logwone Mitz
and his dash to glory, which re-energized the Cougar Faithful in the third quarter. And
Marcus Richmond
threw a key block to spring him loose, while
Kenny Alfred
and his o-line mates sealed the edge. And on and on it goes.
With fall camp now less than four weeks away out on the Palouse, what better way to get amped up than with something like this -- the clip comes courtesy of
ripling12
, as he's known on the CF.C message boards, and he's also posted crimson related videos under the name of Boston Coug.
