HE'S ALWAYS THOUGHT Washington State a special place. His father was a standout defensive back for the Cougars back in the 70s. Dad made sure his son knew the program and school well. But things went to a different level after the young man sent his highlight tape to WSU coaches. They offered the corner, and other schools started to come running.
