FUTURE COUGAR AARON DUNN is the No. 9 ranked prep tight end prospect in the nation according to Scout.com's initial recruiting rankings hot off the presses. Out of Spokane's Mead High, Dunn's rating becomes even more impressive when you consider he missed a good part of his junior season with an injury.
Aaron Dunn
, in the first rankings of the recruiting year released by Scout.com, is rated three stars and is among the nation's top 250 overall regardless of position.
Dunn, (6-6.5, 235), became the earliest verbal commitment in program history at Washington State when he pledged crimson the summer between his sophomore and junior year.
A torn ACL ended his football season back in late October and shuttered his basketball season but Dunn is ahead of the curve on his rehab and is projected to be 100 percent by summer.
Hroniss Grasu
(6-3, 245), brother of Washington State kicker
Nico Grasu
, also made the top 300 list. The defensive end prospect is rated the No. 36 DE prospect in the nation and No. 280 overall. He does not yet hold a college scholarship offer according to Scout.com.
Six Evergreen State prospects made the initial 300 list; Dunn,
Jake Heaps
,
Jamaal Kearse
,
Sione Potoae
,
Christian Wesley
and
Chris Young
.
