Here’s how all of the NFL Cougars performed in week eleven:
Hamza Abdullah, S, Cleveland, 4th season :Declared inactive for the Browns’ Monday night win against Buffalo.
Husain Abdullah, S, Minnesota, rookie: No recorded stats from Vikings’ fall to Tampa Bay.
Alex Brink, QB, Houston, rookie: Did not play; assigned to the Texans’ practice squad.
Mkristo Bruce, DE, Jacksonville, 2nd season: Did not play; assigned to the Jaguars’ practice squad.
Michael Bumpus, WR, Seattle, rookie: Did not play; assigned to the Seahawks’ practice squad.
Erik Coleman, S, Atlanta, 5th season : Tallied five solo stops and assisted on another in Falcs’ loss to Denver. It was Atlanta’s first home loss of the season.
Jed Collins, FB, Chicago, rookie: Did not play; assigned to the Bears practice squad..
Devard Darling, WR, Kansas City, 5th season : Caught one pass for 8 yards and added two tackles (one solo) in loss to New Orleans.
Jason David, CB, New Orleans, 5th season: Recorded four solo tackles and defensed three passes in Saints’ victory over Kansas City.
Eric Frampton, S, Minnesota, 2nd season : Posted two solo stops in Vikings’ loss to the Bucs.
Jason Hanson, K, Detroit, 17th season : The Spokane native was perfect on three field goal attempts and an extra point in the Lions’ loss to Carolina. His second field goal, made from 56 yards, tied his own franchise record for distance. He now has 39 career field goals of 50 yards or more, just one behind Morten Anderson, the all-time NFL record holder. He also passed Nick Lowery for the eighth place spot on the league’s career scoring list. Oh, and he became just the eighth kicker in league history to kick six field goals of 50 yards or longer in one season.
Jerome Harrison, RB, Cleveland, 3rd season : Good news, bad news for The Ghost. First, the bad: Romeo “Buffett” Crennel is still his coach, meaning Jerome only touched the ball four times. The good: one of those touches was a 72 yard touchdown run. In all, he carried the ball three times for 80 yards and caught one pass for another 21 in the Browns’ Monday night victory against Buffalo.
Jason Hill, WR, San Francisco, 2nd season: Caught three passes for 33 yards in 49ers’ defeat of St. Louis.
Rian Lindell, K, Buffalo, 9th season : Good news, bad news for the Vancouver native. The good: he has made 49 consecutive field goals of 40 yards and under, the longest streak among active NFL kickers. The bad: his 47 yard attempt with 38 seconds remaining against Cleveland Monday night sailed wide right, costing the Bills a come-from-behind victory. In all, he connected on two of 3 field goal attempts and was perfect on three point after kicks.
Rob Meier, DE/DT, Jacksonville, 9th season: Notched six solo stops in Jags’ fall to undefeated Tennessee.
Karl Paymah, CB, Denver, 4th season : Recorded two solo tackles in Broncs’ defeat of Atlanta.
Ropati Pitoitua, DT, New York Jets, rookie: Did not play; assigned to the Jets’ practice squad.
Marcus Trufant, DB, Seattle, 6th season : Left the game with a concussion in the third quarter of Hawks’ latest loss with no recorded stats. Should be cleared for week 12 action.
