FOR THOSE Cougfans looking for something uplifting from Washington State alums in the NFL this weekend, well, there really wasn’t a whole lot to get excited about. Unless your thing is the kicking game, in which case Jason Hanson and Rian Lindell came through as consistently as an old scoring streak.

Jason Hill, WR, San Francisco, 2nd season: The special teams gunner posted one solo stops in the Niners’ loss to the Giants. Still no receptions recorded this season.
Rian Lindell, K, Buffalo, 9th season : Missed a 52 yard field goal, but was true on his three other attempts, as well as both PATs, in Bills win against San Diego. Alos posted a solo tackle. The Vancouver native has not missed an extra-point in his pro career and is fifth on the all-time list of consecutive PATs made.
Rob Meier, DE/DT, Jacksonville, 9th season: Did not play; bye week.
Karl Paymah, CB, Denver, 4th season : Posted one solo tackle in Broncs’ Monday night loss to Foxsboro.
