Cougs offer Desert athlete with big hops

THE WASHINGTON STATE STAFF earlier this week gathered back in Pullman for the first time since the May Evaluation period began six weeks ago. And Paul Wulff, with his assistants, extended scholarship offers to a pair of Arizonans -- a safety with record-breaking hops and a 6-4, 290-pound offensive tackle out of Scottsdale.

Bryce Lamb (6-0, 180, 4.5) out of Chandler said one of the draws for the Cougs is the responsibility that comes with a program like Washington State's. "Coming into an up and rising program, it's going to be a lot of responsibility as in making the program better and growing the program and that's cool," said Lamb.
