Cougs offer a potential California Slash

WASHINGTON STATE's new offense this season will be in motion, with multiple sets and players moving more pre-snap than has been seen in recent years out on the Palouse. One versatile player out of California who could fit into that system well and has caught the eye of the Cougar coaches during the May Evaluation period received a crimson offer this week.

Usua Amanam (5-10, 180, 4.6) out of San Jose's Bellarmine Prep got the news this week Wazzu had offered. "I talked to my coach and he said he got a call yesterday morning from Washington State saying they were offering me," said Amanam.
