Inside WSU's major recruiting shift

TODAY, THE COUGARS kicked off their efforts for the May Evaluation period with seven WSU assistants hitting the recruiting trail. It's been well covered that Washington State will place a renewed emphasis on in-state recruiting under Paul Wulff but what exactly does that mean -- how many WSU coaches will be recruiting the Evergreen State? The answer will surprise you.

Coaches from opposing schools run into each other all the time during the May Evaluation period. But for those recruiting the state of Washington, the chances that they run into coaches wearing crimson and gray this spring have increased markedly.
