RECRUITING HAS BEEN heating up for 6-3, 197-pound Brandon Turner out of Kent, Wash., who was recently named the SPSL 4A Defensive Back of the Year. One of the new assistants at Washington State, with whom he's already quite familiar, placed a call last week, said Turner. Turner himself is quite familiar with Washington State, having attended Cougar football camps on four separate occasions.
