BILLS KICKER RIAN Lindell kicked his way past an infamous former Buffalo player, Jacksonville defensive tackle Rob Meier made life miserable for a former Montlake mutt, and the roster of NFL Cougars on the injury list could’ve filled a M*A*S*H unit. All of this and more in our weekly roundup.

Hamza Abdullah, DB, Denver, 3rd season:: Did not play; still suffering from a hip flexor strain.

Kyle Basler, P, Cleveland, 1st season: Did not play; on non-injury reserve.

Troy Bienemann, TE, Arizona, 1st season: No stats from Cards’ 34-31 victory against the Rams.

Cody Boyd, TE, Washington, rookie : Declared inactive, still nursing a bum shoulder.

Tyron Brackenridge, CB, Kansas City, rookie : Recorded one solo tackle and assisted on another in 17-7 loss to KC. Regrets ever buying that “Leon Lett’s Celebrating Defensive Touchdowns” instructional video.

Erik Coleman, S, New York Jets, 4th season : Did not play due to concussion suffered in week four.

Devard Darling, WR, Baltimore, 4th season : No stats from 9-7 win against San Fran.

Jason David, DB, New Orleans, 4th season: Did not play due to fractured forearm. Can’t find anyone in the Big Easy to sign his cast.

Eric Frampton, S, Detroit, rookie : No stats from Cowardly Lions’ 34-3 loss to DC.

Steve Gleason, DB, New Orleans, 8th season: Out for season on injured reserve.

Jason Hanson, K, Detroit, 16th season : . Accounted for all of Lions’ scoring with a 39 yard field goal. Playing with fractured wrist suffered while chasing down Devin Hester in week four.

Jerome Harrison, RB, Cleveland, 2nd season : Inactive for week five. Spends Sundays touring the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Jason Hill, WR, San Francisco, rookie: Inactive for week five. Slated to be the Niners’ number three receiver once lingering hamstring injury subsides.

Rian Lindell, K, Buffalo, 8th season : Made a 24 yard FG, but missed from 54 in Bills’ 25-24 Monday night loss to Dallas. Was perfect on three PAT attempts. His six points moves him past O.J. Simpson as the fifth most prolific scorer on Buffalo’s all-time list, and his Rolex is real.

Rien Long, DT, Tennessee, 5th season: Out for the season on injured reserve.

Rob Meier, DE, Jacksonville, 8th season : Harassed KC quarterbacks all day (one was named Huard, which probably helped) and recorded two solo stops including a sack in Jags’ 17-7 win.

Karl Paymah, CB, Denver, 3rd season : No stats from Broncos’ 31-3 spanking at the hands of San Diego.

Raonall Smith, LB, St. Louis, 6th season : Did not play due to sprained knee suffered in week four.

Lamont Thompson, DB, Miami, 6th season: No stats from Fins’ 22-19 loss to the Texans.

Marcus Trufant, DB, Seattle, 5th season : Notched four solo tackles, one assist and one defensed pass in Jet City’s 21-0 fall to Steeltown.

Cory Withrow, C/G, San Diego, 9th season : No stats from week five.
