'Zona d-tackle shows WSU the love


WASHINGTON STATE is in early on a relentless d-tackle out of Arizona who -- from what college coaches are telling him -- could be in line for a number of scholarship offers this year. The 6-2.5, 260 pounder received his second offer, from WSU, late last week. He also leaves little doubt about his feelings of possibly donning the crimson and gray, saying; "I would love to go to Washington State."

Zeb Togiai says WSU assistant Greg Peterson, who offered the d-lineman as the May Evaluation period wound up, is high up on his list of college coaches. "Coach Peterson is a really good guy, and he's straight with me. He tells me a lot of truth, tells me the things I need to work on and what I need to do to get better.
