WASHINGTON STATE is headed to Sacramento for the opening round as a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament seedings announced Sunday afternoon. The Cougars will face Oral Roberts, a 14 seed, on Thursday morning, with the tipoff time slated for 11:40 am PT.

Oral Roberts, (23-10), repeated this season as the Mid-Continent Conference tournament champion, earning their second straight trip to the Big Dance.

The Golden Eagles' top two scorers are F Caleb Green (20.8) and G Ken Tutt (16.1), with Green the No. 17 scorer in the nation. But Oral Roberts also averages 15.2 turnovers a game, whereas WSU rates the third best team in the country with 10.4 turnovers.

In the Cougars' bracket, the East, the Sweet 16 and Elite 8 regionals are held in East Rutherford, New Jersey, with the Final Four this year in Atlanta.

CF.C will have much more a little later today, including reaction from Cougar players and the scene in Pullman.
