Injury Report: Cougs take a knee
Guard Dan Rowlands, starting in place of Andy Roof who broke a thumb in fall camp, also strained his MCL and is listed as No Practice to begin the week. Wide receiver Chris Jordan, who has battled through knee injuries his WSU career, sprained a knee against Baylor and was listed Monday afternoon by WSU Sports Information as out indefinitely. Brandon Gibson would appear the likely replacement in the starting lineup if Jordan is unable to play Saturday against Stanford.
Backup tight end Jesse Taylor also sprained an MCL Saturday. The senior was also listed Monday in the No Practice category.
