PULLMAN -- Washington State won't cross fall camp's midpoint until tomorrow but the second scrimmage out on the Palouse featured highlights galore. The Cougar offense struck early and often and with a pair of sacks, DT Ropati Pitoitua reminded everyone what he can do up front. Presented in living Technicolor, this exclusive crimson and gray 20-shot pictorial, as seen through the CF.C photo lens.

Note: Following tonight's practice, Washington State holds their third scrimmage of the fall on Saturday afternoon, while Sunday's schedule calls for two full-pad practices. Check back on Cougfan.com all weekend long for complete coverage.
CB
Don Turner
and WR
Jason Hill
go skyward out on the Palouse during the Cougs' second scrimmage of the fall. Scrimmage No. 3 is slated for Saturday afternoon in Martin Stadium
The offense carried the day during the Cougs' second scrimmage but the defense was not without their moments, such as here when Washington State's stop corps, led by DE
Mkristo Bruce
, display an Eleven Hats to the Football mentality
Running back
DeMaundray Woolridge
keeps his feet moving. The strong-like-bull true sophomore led all rushers with 7 touches for 75 yards. His first carry of the night was a thing of beauty as the Texan used both speed and a wicked move to take it to the house
In a battle of two of the Cougar lines' bests, 6-foot-7, 312 pound left tackle and honors candidate
Bobby Byrd
squares off against equally large
Ropati Pitoitua
, listed this fall at 6-8, 291 pounds
Running back/return man
Derrell Hutsona
eyes paydirt as he turns on the jets during the Cougars' second scrimmage
Chris Jordan
led Cougar receivers with six catches, racking up 74 yards and a touchdown. The senior from Kentlake High has looked stellar this fall, and clearly much healthier than the last two seasons when he's battled through knee injuries
Alex Brink
sets up before letting one fly. The junior quarterback was 14 of 20 for 164 yards on the night, with two touchdowns and no interceptions
Starting middle linebacker
Greg Trent
refuses to let go of tight end
Jed Collins
Defensive tackle

Ryan Kensok

A two-part look at cornerback
B.T. Walker
and wide receiver
Finas Rabb
. At 6-foot-6, Rabb has the height advantage over the 5-10 corner, but Walker has position
The offensive and defensive roles are reversed, as Rabb plays defender on Walker to bust up any potential interception
The Cougars' starting QB didn't only do it through the air during the second scrimmage
OLB
Scott Davis
makes the stop, with middle 'backer Trent also closing fast
Backup QB
Gary Rogers
connected for two touchdown passes on 12-21 passing for 116 yards during the scrimmage
Charles Dillon
, one of several rookies to draw praise from the WSU coaching staff this fall camp, makes the grab against tight coverage from cornerback Kensok
Cougar defensive end
Lance Broadus
looks to shoot a gap. The junior has seen his turns on the front line increase while starter
Matt Mullennix
, expected to return soon, has been out with a fractured hand
Dwight Tardy
was one of six Cougar running backs who combined for 136 yards on 21 carries during Washington State's second scrimmage of the fall
Kicker
Romeen Abdollmohammadi
, with Rogers the holder, was true on this FG attempt. After going 4-for-4 in the first scrimmage and Bill Doba saying he'd moved past
Loren Langley
on the depth chart, Abdollmohammadi missed his first two attempts in Scrimmage No. 2 before sending his last two through the uprights. Langley also went 2-for-4 on the night
