Recruiting: What about Kellen Moore?

FOR FOLLOWERS of prep football and college recruiting in Washington, one question continues to surface: What about Kellen Moore? Specifically, why isn't the record setter from Prosser getting more recruiting attention? He threw 66 TD passes last season and beat out Jake Locker for All-State honors and Jason Munns for All-Area plaudits. Yet except for EWU, the scholie offers have yet to flow.

Locker, from Ferndale, is headed to Washington this fall and Munns, a senior-to-be from Kennewick, already has committed verbally to BYU for 2007. But Kellen Moore, the most prolific high school passer in state history, is still waiting for offers from the Pac-10 and WAC. He's getting interest from a range of schools, including Oregon State, Boise State and Utah. And he earned praise this spring...
