DB Jimmy Smith picks up Washington State offer

DEFENSIVE BACK James Smith picked up a Cougar offer recently, his seventh of the recruiting season. The 6-foot-2, 190 pound defenseman out of Colton, Calif., trips to Washington State after the holidays, says the Cougs are high atop his list but there are also other suitors knocking on the door. Besides WSU, who offered last week, Smith holds scholly offers from Nebraska, Boise State, Colorado State, UNLV, Hawaii and Nevada. Arizona State is also lurking.
