Down year not hampering WSU Recruiting

WASHINGTON STATE'S close-but-no-cigar season doesn't appear to be hindering the Cougars' recruiting efforts as they enter the stretch drive for the class of 2006, which will be signing letters of intent in just three months. WSU is in the serious hunt for a number of standout prep and JC student athletes.

Among them: Xavier Lucas, a 6-4, 190-pound receiver out of Tempe's McClintock High; WR Anthony Houston (6-4, 200, 4.46) from San Diego's Mission Bay High; cornerback Jamathan Ingram-Lyle (6-0, 175) out of Boulder's Mullen High; Long Beach Poly CB Vincent Joseph (5-9.5, 185, 4.4); B.T.
