COUGAR FOOTBALL AND BASKETBALL games are broadcast live on the radio throughout the Pacific Northwest via Washington State ISP College Sports Network. The network, which expanded its coverage in the Seattle area for 2011, reaches as far as British Columbia and can be heard worldwide via the internet.
Updated Aug. 29, 2011
Bob Robertson, Jim Walden and Bud Nameck call the action on Saturdays. Robertson is in his 45th year of broadcasting Cougar sports. Walden, the former Cougar head coach from 1978-86, is in his eleventh season as a Cougar commentator. Nameck has been broadcasting WSU sports on radio or television since 1981 and is in his tenth season as part of the radio team.
Cougar gamedays include a two-hour pregame and one hour postgame football show. Additionally, the one-hour “Paul Wulff Show,” produced and distributed by the Washington State ISP Sports Network, airs weekly on most network stations Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.
