QB Arkelon Hall will be an early arrival at WSU

LAST YEAR, then incoming freshman Michael Bumpus showed up early on the WSU campus, eager to begin assimilating the Cougar offense. In the class of 2005, several incoming Cougs will follow the same path, arriving in Pullman around the middle of July. And one, incoming Cougar quarterback Arkelon Hall, will arrive even earlier than that. A lot earlier.

One reason Bumpus felt so comfortable during the 2004 fall camp was his early arrival -- he reported on July 20 and spent every spare moment with his nose stuck in the offensive playbook.
