FORGET THE Apple Cup. WSU has a ton of reasons to smile -– and not just because they’re poised to become the first Pac-10 team in 70 years to win 10 games in three seasons in row. Nope. The recruiting wars are why every Cougar should be grinnin'. WSU just landed a verbal commitment from a coveted California LB, and the top OL prospect in Washington afffirms that he’s dropping the Dawgs and focusing on WSU and others. Moreover, one of the top corners in the West says he too likes the Cougs.
