WSU Recruiting: Official visits being set up

WITH THE REGULAR SEASON now just six days away, things are really starting to heat up on the official visit front. A pair of prospects with Cougar offers set theirs up on Thursday. They include a three-star cornerback from Oklahoma, who tells Cougfan.com he can’t wait to see the new Football Operations building in person.

Cornerback prospect Darreyl Patterson (pictured above) out of Lawton, Okla., picked up his crimson offer back in March and has been in steady contact with the WSU coaches ever since. He’s received mail, spoken with the staff on the phone and connected with them through Twitter. And next month, when Washington State hosts Oregon, the 6-0, 170-pounder will have the opportunity to meet the coaches...
