Movement on WSU's fall camp depth chart

HOW DEEP IS Washington State's receiving corps? Deep enough that last year's leading receiver isn't listed as a starter on the new fall camp depth chart.

Instead, Kristoff Williams (pictured) is listed as the starting "Z" receiver. After Williams, the chart reads Isiah Myers "or" Gabe Marks.

Marks led the Cougs with 74 receptions last season, the second-most in program history.

WSU doesn't release injury information but Marks was limited in the spring and indicated on Twitter in April that he had undergone surgery, "Surgery was successful. Shoutout to pullman Regional hospital," read the tweet. Historically, Mike Leach has filled out his depth chart with players who are producing and with Marks missing the spring, and Kristoff Williams turning in a very good spring, it's not a complete shock to see Marks down on the list headed into fall camp.

Elsewhere on the depth chart, true freshman Calvin Green, who arrived early in January, is listed as the No. 2 "H" receiver behind Rickey Galvin. On the spring chart, Brett Bartolone was listed as the backup.

Sam Flor and Riley Sorenson remain listed as "or" for the starting center job. Theron West and Jamal Morrow are the only two running backs listed, though Marcus Mason, Teondray Caldwell and Gerard Wicks are all expected to be in the mix when fall camp opens on Saturday.

Robert Lewis is now listed as the backup "Y" receiver behind River Cracraft. Kristoff Williams was the No. 2 Y on the spring chart.

Eduardo Middleton is the No. 2 left guard, (he was listed as the No. 2 right guard on the spring chart.)

Over on defense, all but one of the starters remained the same as on the spring chart but there's some movement behind them.

As defensive coordinator Mike Breske told CF.C last month, Jeremiah Allison is backing up Darryl Monroe at the MIK.

Chester Sua is now listed as the No. 2 WILL behind Tana Pritchard (in the spring Sua was third behind Allison).

Tracy Clark and Charleston White are now listed as co- No. 1's at the boundary corner. Daquawn Brown was the No. 1 there in the spring. Brown is now listed as an "or" at the field corner with Marcellus Pippins.

Strong safety lists three possible starters: Isaac Dotson "or" Beau Glover "or" David Bucannon. Meanwhile, Darius Lemora moves from the No. 2 strong safety to the No. 2 free safety spot behind Taylor Taliulu.
