Cougs offer pair of Golden State QBs

BRADY WHITE, RATED the No. 8 prep quarterback prospect in the nation and four stars by, was offered by Washington State and Mike Leach on Monday night. Leach also offered three-star prospect Tyler Hilinski, who has already made plans to visit Pullman later this month.

White, out of Hart High in Newhall, Calif., posted his news on Twitter.

"Blessed to have received my 14th scholarship from Washington State!! #GoCougars," tweeted White.

As CF.C outlined in an earlier story on Monday, White has more mobility than he's given credit for but where he impresses most is via his timing with receivers, poise in the pocket, ability to read a defense, smart decisions and his throwing accuracy.

He was quoted last month in saying a Kentucky coach told him he'd be a terrific fit in their Air Raid offense.

White's midseason junior highlights:

Hilinski (6-4, 195) out of Upland, Calif., threw for 3,053 yards on 177 of 260 passing as a junior (68 percent) with 34 touchdowns against just eight interceptions.

Hilinski told's Greg Biggins he plans to unofficially visit WSU on April 29, coinciding with the Cougs' final spring practice.
