Leach and Alabama CB forge a connection

WASHINGTON STATE AND Miami have done battle for a couple recruits in recent years, and it looks like another duel is shaping up for the Class of 2014. Cornerback prospect Patrick Porter will trip out to Washington State later this month but until then, he's making due by picking up the phone and dialing up Mike Leach.

Porter isn't your typical Mike Breske cornerback – the Cougs' defensive coordinator likes tall CBs, in the 6-2 range if they can get ‘em.
