WSU NOTEBOOK: Forbes making his presence felt


LEWISTON – A true freshman wide receiver continued his hot fall camp start and relished the opportunity to work with the ones Tuesday. Meanwhile, a redshirt freshman got off the exercise bike and returned to practice, a veteran offensive lineman stepped into a leadership role at the end of practice and one Coug celebrated his birthday in style.

• With the Cougs in full pads for the first time this fall camp, the sound of banging helmets and shoulder pads echoed throughout the Sacajawea Junior High campus.
