Three-star Cali T/G has a leader - WSU
UNOFFICIAL VISIT PLANNED TO WSU THIS MONTH

FOR A THREE-STAR offensive lineman from California, he's put his recruitment on the back burner as of late. But the 6-5, 295-pounder does have one school at the top of his list -- Washington State. He's also planning on being in Pullman later this month for an unofficial visit.

Riverside, Calif. hoss
(6-5, 295) holds offers from Utah State, San Diego State, San Jose State and Fresno State in addition to WSU.
"Washington State is probably my number one school right now," Krepsz said. "I talk with their coaches the most and I like the idea of being able to do so many outdoorsy things out there. That's the kind of lifestyle that best fits what I'm looking for.
"I like Fresno State a lot too, though. I'm definitely staying in contact with them and keep everything close. We've been talking a lot too and I'm planning on going up there for their game against Boise State. I'll keep looking at them and go from there."
THINGS HAVE SLOWED
down a bit for Krepsz with recruiting, but that's been by choice. After focusing on his recruitment throughout the spring, he decided this summer to switch gears and drill down into his offseason training.
"I felt like I was getting too caught up in everything," Krepsz said. "Right now my goal is being the best player I can be for my team."
But that hasn't stopped the Martin Luther King High standout from remaining in close communication with Washington State.
Krepsz, who is being recruited by WSU as both a guard and tackle, said he talks about once a week with WSU offensive line coach
and the two continue to build a strong relationship.
"I've been talking with Washington State the most," Krepsz said. "Coach McGuire and I are trying to talk on a weekly basis and that might increase if things continue to get serious.
"We talk about more than just football. He's told me a lot about the school and the area. I'm not looking to just play football in college. I want the whole experience. Wherever I go, I want to make sure I enjoy the football program, but the education is big for me too."
KREPSZ SAID THE
only one unofficial visit he has planned is to Pullman for July 19. The trip isn't set in stone, but Krepsz said he and the WSU coaches are working on finalizing that schedule soon.
Krepsz is going fishing with his family in Alaska for nine days and some of the WSU coaches will be on vacation around that time. Both sides are trying to squeeze in a date that fits.
As for when he'll make his decision?
"You know, I'm not sure," Krepsz said. "It's obviously getting later and I have some things bouncing around in my head right now. WSU looks good right now, but things might change for me during my senior year. I think more schools might come in and I might have more options.
"I'm just hoping it's one of those things where something clicks for me and I'll know where I want to go. I don't think I've quite found that yet."
