Future Coug blows the doors off NIKE camp

FUTURE COUGAR Marcus Griffin didn't pad up for the local camp event on Friday and Mercer Island but he certainly made some hay this weekend in Eugene at the final NIKE camp of the recruiting season. Indeed, the 6-3, 292-pounder was not only the defensive line MVP -- one national recruiting analyst had him pegged, if such an award were given, as the overall camp MVP.

Bellevue's Griffin, who verballed to the Cougs back in April, says WSU likes him at either nose tackle or defensive end. He sure opened some eyes this weekend for his work on the interior of the line.
