Future Coug named 1st-team all-class All-State in Calif.

Washington State verbal commit Paulo Lepua has been named first-team all-classifications California All-State by CalHiSports. The 6-3, 265-pound defensive end from Los Angeles posted a whopping 26 sacks in 2012, upping his two-season total to 40. He was named the South Bay Daily Breeze Defensive Player of the Year and was named the CIF L.A. City Section’s Defensive Lineman of the Year.
Another future Cougar, running back Gerard Wicks of Long Beach Poly, was named to CalHi's third-team all-class All-State team.
